User Data Deletion

How to request deletion of data associated with a Lighthouse conversation, including data received through Facebook Messenger.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

How to submit a request

  1. Write to the data controller at the postal address below and state that you request deletion of Lighthouse conversation data received through Facebook/Meta or another enabled channel.
  2. Provide only enough information to locate the conversation, such as the Facebook Page name, approximate conversation date, and the name or identifier visible in that conversation. Do not send your password, access token, payment-card data or unnecessary identity documents.
  3. We may ask for limited additional information if it is necessary to verify that the request concerns your data and to prevent unauthorised deletion.

What happens next

After verification, data linked to the conversation will be deleted or anonymised using Lighthouse’s database controls. This includes the conversation, messages, structured state, contact identifiers, Mission Recorder records, escalations, transfer requests, internal notes and associated operational notifications, where applicable.

We will retain only data that must be kept for a legal obligation, accounting, fraud prevention, security audit or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Where retention is required, access is restricted and the data is no longer used for ordinary concierge operations.

Meta/Facebook data

Deleting data from Lighthouse does not automatically delete data held independently by Meta or Facebook. To manage or delete data stored by Meta, use the privacy and account tools provided directly by Meta.

Scope and timing

We handle requests without undue delay and within the period required by applicable data-protection law. If we cannot locate the conversation from the minimum information supplied, we will explain what additional detail is necessary.
